The Wirecutter: The Best Personal Breathalyzer (and Why You Shouldn’t Buy One)

After talking to a world renowned toxicologist, spending time conducting multiple tests with some good friends in law enforcement and a surrogate drinker (I had to be sober in order to collect test data,) I can tell you without hesitation that you should NEVER trust a portable breathalyzer to tell you whether or not you’re sober enough to get behind the wheel of a car.
