I had a few weeks to spend with a 13” MacBook Pro with Retina display recently. It’s a great computer. I fell in love with it’s display—so much so that I often found myself foregoing the option of plugging into the 27” display I typically use at my desk whiles working at home. That said, as usual, Apple’s internal storage options are pretty pricey, so it’s hard to come away from ordering with with a real feeling of value per GB in comparison to some of the other options out there. Of course, if you’re a savvy user with a Devil-may-care attitude about warranties, you could always upgrade the system’s internal storage at a later date for a whole lot cheaper than Apple would allow for were you to order the same configuration direct from the factory.
