New Fiction: Larry

Between my regular freelancing schedule and a special project for Chabad Vancouver Island that I completed last night, there’s not been much time for me to chase down any fiction writing of late.

Except for this.

Written for the Lost Children Challenge over at Fictionaut, Larry is a grim little ditty about the consequences of our actions, revenge and new uses for lawn furniture. To be honest, given the amount of burnout I’m feeling these days, I wasn’t sure that I had it in me. That said, I don’t believe in writer’s block, so instead of giving in, I wound up with a 700 word tale that I feel pretty good about.

If you’ve got the time, give it a once over and let me know what you think.
