Microsoft Exits CES: The Right Move at the Right Time

Unexpected visits to the doctor’s office due to crippling pain aside, CES 2012 is on and that means there’s a mountain of work for me to tackle. Fortunately, I was able to get the ball rolling early yesterday with my take on why Microsoft’s pulling out of CES after this year is the best move they could possibly make in the face of their shrinking (albeit still insanely healthy) market share and inability to glean a real understanding of hardware, the mobile market or what consumers outside of enterprise want from them.
