In my first HGWT column, way back in May, I promised that I'd spend some time with three of the most popular language learning apps for iOS to see which one worked the best for me and why. After spending two months proving time and time again that my Spanish is terrible (but improving!) I can say without hesitation, that Rosetta Stone is the best language learning system I could find.
While it comes with a steep price tag to take full advantage of its extensive feature set, I feel that it's worth every penny. As my work will be taking me to a number of Spanish speaking countries over the next few years, I plan on continuing to use the app on my iPad and iPhone.
