Scrivener has been a vital part of my writing workflow for close to a decade. Unfortunately, for most of that time, using it has meant having to lug along my laptop wherever I go. For a guy with an injured neck who prefers the light weight of an iPad, that kind of sucked. Happily, after a number of setbacks to the app's development and delays that spanned years, Scrivener for iOS is finally available and it is spectacular.
I was fortunate enough to be included in the app's beta testing pool since May and have been using it almost constantly since then. Even in beta, the app has proven so stable and packs so many of the features I rely upon in the desktop version, that I felt comfortable leaving my laptop at home while on an out-of-province assignment. It's that good.
