If you're looking for a new camera, the chances are VERY good that the Sony RXiR II isn't the one for you. It's wildly expensive, full-frame compact shooter for competent professional photographers and deeply enlightened amateurs. Having spent time with it for a couple of weeks, I can tell you that it's a great camera. In the right hands, it's capable of taking some beautiful photos--but most folks will be just as happy with a significantly less expensive compact camera. I'm one of them.
